Tracy Kirk finished her career for the LakersĀ as one of the most prolific players in the history of the volleyball program. Her crowning moment came in leading GVSU to its first-ever volleyball National Championship in 2005 over top-seeded Nebraska-Kearney. During that championship season Tracy was an AVCAĀ First-Team All-American, was named to the NCAA DII Elite Eight All-Tournament team, the Midwest Regional All-Tournament team and earned GLIAC player of the Week three times. During her career Kirk was named First-Team All-GLIACĀ three times, was the three-time recipient of GLIAC All-Tournament team honors, while also being a two-time All-Midwest Region honoree and a two-time Academic All-GLIACĀ recipient. She finished her career ranking in the top 10 of five different statistical categories, while her .371 hitting percentage in 2005 ranks third in the single-season annals and her 503 kills that season is 10th all-time. Kirk recorded 3,329 attacks (6th), 1,485 kills (4th), a .328 attack percentage (4th), 334 block assists (6th), and 404 total blocks (9th).Ā
