Grand Valley State University Athletics

Bill Roersma was a two-year standout for the Lakers on the mat. Bill turned in a record of 66-10-1 during his career, including the 1977 NAIA National Championship at 142 pounds for the Lakers. Roersma, who was a two-time All-American, captured the GVSU Invitational title twice and earned team MVP honors as a senior.
