Diriki Mose was among the first in a long line of great all-purpose players that competed for Grand Valley State on the gridiron. Mose, four-year letterwinner for the Lakers, tallied 3,457 all-purpose yards, a total that ranks ninth all-time in Laker annals. As a receiver, Mose hauled in 124 passes for 1,854 yards and 19 TD's. His 124 receptions rank seventh all-time in Lakers annals, while his 1,854 reveiving yards ranks ninth. Diriki led the squad with 62 catches as a senior, a total that ranks sixth on the single-season list. Mose's 777 punt return yards ranks second all-time in the GVSU record books, while his 62 punt returns is third. In addition, Diriki also tallied 831 kickoff return yards. Diriki was a consensus First-Team All-American as a senior in 1995, garnering First-Team honors from the American Football Coaches Association, the Football Gazette, and CM Frank. Mose also earned a CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and First-Team All-MIFC plaudits following his senior campaign. Diriki spent one year (1996) with the Detroit Lions and one year (1997) in NFL Europe's Rhein Fire.
