Charlotte Snyder garnered virtually every honor and award that a Grand Valley State diver could earn. Snyder earned four NCAA Championship All-American awards, in addition to three College Swim Coaches Association Academic All-American honors. The Lakers’ first-ever female All-American diver, Snyder earned the Laker Diving Award in 1991 and was Grand Valley State’s nominee as the NCAA Woman of the Year in 1993. Charlotte holds the GVSU pool record on the one-meter board with an 11-dive competition score of 388.62. Snyder also holds the varsity record on the three-meter board with a six-dive score of 274.50.Â
