One of the best goalkeepers in Grand Valley State history, Kristina Nasturzio was a key part of the growth into the dynasty the women's soccer program has become. Nasturzio had a career record of 77-6-2. A four-year starter, when Nasturzio finished her career she was the leader in every goalkeeping stat in Lakers history. She still stands second in career saves with 226, goals against average at 0.34, wins with 77, shutouts with 46, goalie games played at 88.  Grand Valley State reached the NCAA Tournament in all four seasons Nasturzio minded the Lakers' net, including two trips to the Final Four and one National Championship appearance. Nasturzio was a Daktronics First-Team All-American in each of her final three seasons and was named to the NCAA All Tournament team in 2006. Nasturzio was a three-time, First-Team All-GLIAC performer and was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team in 2007 and 2008.
