About Tailgate Town

In the Fall of 2021, GVSU Athletics debuted one of the most unique tailgating experiences in all of college football - Tailgate Town. Tailgate Town is made up of 8 customizable units, equipped with cable TV, a bar, and mini fridge just a tenth of a mile from the entrance to Lubbers Stadium.

In 2022, the town was expanded and Tailgate Town 2.0 was born. Adjacent to the original Tailgate Town, 2.0 offers the ultimate in convenience. Fans can reserve their own premium spot in the center of the action. Packages include a 10' x 10' tent already setup for you, two reserved parking spots, table/chairs, personalized sign, and a cooler with ice.
