?Chelsea Parise will go down as one of the great NCAA DII goalkeepers on the pitch for women’s soccer, both statistically and with honors earned. She tallied a career-record of 84-4-13 in goal with 282 saves, a save percentage of .884 and a goal against average of 0.37. Chelsea ranks number one in nine career categories and the top 10 of 19 single-season ledgers for Grand Valley State. Parise was three-time, First-Team All-GLIAC honoree, a six-time All-Region performer as selected by the United Soccer Coaches Association and the DII Conference Commissioner’s Association and a three-time consensus All-American. In addition, Parise was selected as the 2012 D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year. GVSU captured four consecutive GLIAC Championship and won the 2009 and 2010 NCAA DII National Championships with Parise in goal.
