    Jack was a four-year starter at quarterback for the Laker football  team. He led the Lakers to a 35-10 record during his tenure as starting quarterback, including three playoff appearances. Hull became the all-time leading passer in GVSU history and currently is second on the all-time list. During his career, Jack set 10 school passing records, two MIFC records, and one NCAA record. Hull completed 485-835 attempts (58 percent) for 7,120 yards and 64 touchdowns. Hull set a single-game record with five touchdown passes in one game against Winona State. Jack received All-Conference plaudits three times from 1989-1991 and was also an Academic All-American during those seasons.
