Grand Valley State University Athletics

Roger Singleton was a standout member of Grand Valley’s wrestling team, competing in the 118-pound weight class. Singleton was a three-time GLIAC Champion and a four-time NCAA Division II Qualifier. He placed fifth in the nation as a sophomore, second as a junior and won the NCAA Division II National Championship as a senior.  Singleton’s Division II Championship also qualified him to go on to the NCAA Division I Championships, where he placed sixth overall.
