Mark Mangianti

    Mark Mangianti is the first National Champion at GVSU, winning NAIA 118-pound wresting title in 1973-74. Mangianti, from Mt. Clemens, was the first wrestler to become a four time Great Lakes Conference champion and also won the NAIA District 23 title three times. Two-time NAIA All-America and finished third in NCAA Division II National competition. Mark holds 12 GVSU wrestling records including 138-12-2 overall mark and 55-1-1 dual record from 1972-76.
