Scott Marvin (Temerance, Mich.) turned in a stellar wrestling career for the Lakers. Scott was a four-year letterwinner and a three-time All-American for the grapplers. Following an 18-12 record as a freshman, Marvin tallied a 34-17 mark his sophomore campaign, highlighted by second place finishes in both the GLIAC and regionals. Scott concluded the season with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships to earn his first All-American honor. Marvin earned his second All-American honor as a junior with his fifth-place finish. Scott also finished third in the GLIAC and regional championships while compiling a 31-13 record. Marvin was injured most of his senior year, but came back at the end of the season to finish second at regionals and seventh at the NCAA Championships. Scott finished the year with a 16-6 record and was named team Captain and earned the Team Spirit Award. Marvin concluded his wrestling career for the Lakers with 99 career wins.
