Jeff Fox was one of the most prolific offensive performers in Grand Valley State football history. Fox, who finished third in the balloting for the Harlon Hill Award as the best player in Division II in 1998, guided GVSU to two GLIAC titles and a berth in the 1998 NCAA DII playoffs. Fox completed 60.7 percent of his passes during his career for 8,197 yards and 63 touchdowns. The two-time First-Team All-GLIAC honoree still ranks second in single-season passing yards in GLIAC history with 2,933. Fox also holds the second (3,260), fifth (2,515) and sixth-best (2,422) single-season passing yardage total in Laker annals, and his 63 career TD passes also ranks third all-time. Jeff currently holds the GVSU single-game record for completions (30) and attempts (47). A two-time All-American on the gridiron, Fox also was a standout for the Lakers on the baseball diamond and ranks among the single-season and career leaders in 10 different categories.
