Grand Valley State University Athletics

    Pat Baker was a three sport star who won 11 letters from 1972-75 at GVSC. She played volleyball, basketball, and softball. While and outstanding athlete, she also maintained a 3.33 grade point average and was awarded the Charles H. Irwin Scholar-Athlete Award in 1975 for achievement in academics and athletics.
    Baker is the first Laker athlete to return to her alma mater as a head coach. In 1978 she became women's basketball coach.
