The Grand Valley State women’s soccer program is widely recognized as the toughest and best in the nation. Kristen Eible was a key piece in the building of the program as a hard-nosed player and then maintaining the programs dominance as an assistant coach. Eible played every game with unbridled passion and played with one thing on her mind – winning. GVSU was 87-3-7 during her career, including a 47-1-3 GLIAC mark. The Lakers captured two National Championships (2009 and 2010) and four GLIAC regular season and tournament titles during her career on the pitch. Eible scored 18 goals, dished out 21 assists and tallied nine game-winning goals as a midfielder. She was a three-time All-Region and All-GLIAC performer, and earned All-America honors as a senior in 2010.
