2010-11: Won the shot put at both the GVSU Laker Early Bird (18.05m) and Bob Eubanks Open (17.83m) to begin the indoor season...Also won the shot put at the GVSU Tune-Up (17.26m)...Finished second at the GLIAC Indoor Championships with a toss of 18.22 meters...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships with a third-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 18.47 meters...During the outdoor season, he finished second in the shot put at the Miami Invitational (17.47m)...At the Purdue Dave Rankin Invitational, he finished third in the shot put (18.10m) and second in the discus throw (49.32m)...Finished 10th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the shot put after a throw of 17.12 meters.

2009-10: Won both the GVSU Laker Early Bird (16.60m) and Mike Lints Alumni Open (16.93m) in the shot put...Finished second at the GLIAC Indoor Championships with a toss of 17.36m in the shot put...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championship with a throw of 17.47m...During the outdoor season, he won the shot put competition at the Miami Invitational with a throw of 17.02 meters...Also won the shot put at the Illinois Twilight meet with a toss of 17.62 meters...Finished eighth in both the shot put (15.87m) and discus (43.92m) at th e GLIAC Outdoor Championships...Earned All-American honors in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a second-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 18.05 meters.
