Grand Valley State Best: Pole Vault - 5.30m

2013-14: Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a sixth-place finish in the pole vault (5.00m, 16’ 4.74”) at the 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships … Also placed first in the pole vault against Saginaw Valley State (5.00m, 16’ 4.75”), and at the GVSU 5-Way (5.05m, 16’ 6.75”), the GVSU Tune Up (5.06m, 16’ 7.25”), and the 2014 GLIAC Indoor Championships (5.20m, 17’ 0.75”) … Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a second-place finish in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 5.30m (17’ 4.5”) … Also placed first in the pole vault at the EIU Big Blue Classic (5.00m, 16’ 6.75”), the WKU Hilltopper Relays (5.05m, 16’ 8.75”), the Hillsdale Relays (5.10m, 16’ 8.75”), the 2014 GLIAC Outdoor Championships (5.05m, 16’ 6.75”), and the GVSU Last Chance Meet (5.00m, 16 4.75”).

2012-13: Finished in the top 10 of every event he recorded a mark in during both the indoor and outdoor seasons in the pole vault...During the indoor season, he won the event at the GVSU Holiday Open with a mark of 4.47 meters (14'8")...Had a season-best vault of 5.07 meters (16'7.5") at the GLIAC Indoor Championship to finish third...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a fifth-place finish at the 2013 NCAA Division II Championship with a vault of 5.00 meters (16'4.75")...During the outdoor season, he finished outside the top two only once...Won the pole vault at the GVSU-SVSU Dual with a mark of 5.00 meters (16'4.75")...Finished second at the Hillsdale Gina Relays with a season-best mark of 5.11 meters (16'9.25")...Just missed out on All-American honors at the 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, finishing ninth with a vault of 4.95 meters (16'2.75").

2011-12: Began competing exclusively in the pole vault...Won the event at the GVSU-SVSU Dual (4.70m), was ninth at the GVSU Big Meet (4.80m)...Was the runner-up at both the GVSU Tune-Up (4.92m) and GLIAC Indoor Championships (4.94m)...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships with a vault of 5.00 meters...During the outdoor season, he had three first-place finishes, including victories at the Hillsdale Invite (4.90m), GVSU Al Owens Classic (4.80m) and the GLIAC Outdoor Championships (5.00m)...Earned a USTFCCCA All-American honor and podium finish by placing third at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a vault of 4.95 meters.

2010-11: Competed in multi-events most of the indoor season...Tallied a 4532 score in the heptathlon at the GVSU Holiday Open to finish third...Finished with 2835 points at the indoor pentatlon at the GVSU Laker Early Bird to finish second...Finished with 4604 points in the heptathlon at hte Bob Eubanks Open to place third...Finished ninth in the heptathlon at the GVSU Big Meet with a score of 4808 points...Won the pole vault competitions at both the GVSU-SVSU Dual (4.75m) and the GVSU Big Meet (4.80m)...During the outdoor season, he finished eighth in the pole vault at the Miami Invite (4.55m) and 13th at the Purdue Dave Rankin Invite (4.65m).

High School: Four-year lettermen at Big Walnut High School..Two-time Ohio Capital Conference champion in the pole vault...Helped the Eagles to a Central District Championship in 2009 and finished fourth at the 2010 Indoor State Championships in the pole vault.
