Grand Valley State: High Jump - 2.15m

2013-14: Did not place outside the top 10 in any event during the indoor or outdoor seasons … Placed first in the High Jump at the GVSU Holiday Open (2.09m, 6’ 10.25”), Mike Lints Open (2.07m, 6’ 9.5”), and the SVSU-GVSU dual meet (2.10m, 6’ 10.75”) … Placed second at the 2014 GLIAC Indoor Championships (2.09m, 6’ 10.25”) … Placed ninth at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships (2.05m, 6’ 8.75”) … During the outdoor series, he finished first in the Aquinas Twilight Invitational (2.03m, 6’ 8”) and the GVSU Second to Last Chance Meet (2.10m, 6’ 10.75”) … Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a fifth-place finish in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships (2.10m, 6’ 10.75”).

2012-13: Never finished lower than fifth in any event during either the indoor or outdoor seasons...Competed almost exclusively in the high jump...During the indoor season, he cleared a season-best 2.12 meters (6'11.5") at the GVSU Quad, finishing first...Also won the high jump at the Mike Lints Alumni Open (2.05m/6'8.75"), GVSU-SVSU Dual (2.01m/6'7") and GVSU Tune-Up (2.04m/6'8.25")...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors with a fifth-place finish at the 2013 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships (2.10m/6'10.75")...During the outdoor season, he won the high jump three times...Won at the GVSU-SVSU Dual (2.08m/6'9.75"), Al Owens Classic (2.15m/7'0.5") and the Last Chance Meet (1.99m/6'6.25")...Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors at the 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship with a fifth-place finish after clearing 2.15 meters (7'0.5"), tied for his best mark in the event.

2011-12: Won his first-ever collegiate event at the indoor GVSU Holiday Open, when he finished first in the high jump with a leap of 2.05 meters...Also won the long jump at the GVSU-SVSU Dual Meet with a jump of 6.45 meters...Had a season-best high jump of 2.11 meters to win the high jump at the GVSU Big Meet...Finished third at the GLIAC Indoor Championships with a leap of 2.04 meters...During the outdoor season, he qualified for the national championships with a season-best height of 2.15 meters at the Duke Invite to finish third...Finished fourth at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships with a leap of 2.06 meters...Finished 13th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship with a mark of 2.05 meters.
