2014-15: Redshirted.

High School: Sam was a four-year letter winner at Gull Lake High School … He was a four-time state qualifier in Cross Country, and a two-time state qualifier in the 3200m run …  He was All-State in Cross Country in 2013, and took second place in the 3200m run in 2014.
