ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced 161 Grand Valley State student-athletes earned All-Academic or Academic Excellence honors for the 2022 Spring season. 
 
THE GLIAC All-Academic requires a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49, while Academic Excellence team is comprised of student-athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. First-year freshman and first-year transfers are not eligible.
 
Grand Valley had 91 student-athletes named to the GLIAC Academic Excellence team and 70 to the All-Academic. The men's and women' s track and field team led the Lakers with 54 Academic Excellence honors and 40 All-Academic.
