DELAND, Fla. - Grand Valley State women's tennis wrapped up their Spring Break trip to Florida with a 6-1 loss to Stetson of Division I on Saturday afternoon. The Lakers, ranked 39th in the latest ITA Division II poll, see their record at 16-6 with today's loss, while the Hatters improved to 8-1 after the win. The loss also puts GVSU's record on the Spring Break trip at an even 3-3.

With Stetson sweeping doubles play and winning five of the six singles matches,Carola Orna earned the only Laker point on the day with a victory from the No. 3 position. The senior won the first set, 7-5, before dropping the second, 2-6.
