Sarah Krause was named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season, and the second time in her career.

Krause helped lead the Lakers to two road victories, totaling 26 saves on a .722 save percentage, adding eight groundballs. In Friday's 16-2 win at Concordia-St. Paul, Krause saved a career-high 14 shots, posting a .875 save percentage, while picking up five groundballs. On Sunday, Krause saved 12 more shots, including a potential go-ahead free position attempt shot with four minutes to play, and grabbed three more groundballs in the 9-8 win at Northern Michigan. This season, Krause has totaled 110 saves and 35 groundballs on a .482 save percentage.
