ResultsThe Grand Valley State men's and women's swimming and diving team swept a non-league dual meet Saturday afternoon at Indianapolis. The Laker women claimed a 159-82 win, while the Laker men won 134-109.
The #6 GVSU women won 11 events en route to the win, including both relays. The Lakers opened with a win in the 400 medley relay as

Sam Postmus touched in 3:55.70.
Caroline Brereton led a 1-2 finish in the 1000 free in a time of 10:36.69.
Megan Shaughnessy finished second in 10:45.34.
Leonie Van Noort touched first in the 200 free (1:50.22), while
Emily Gallagher was second (24.56) and
Lara Deibel third (24.84) in the 50 free.
Sam Postmus touched first in the 200 IM (2:05.99) and Martinez (59.72) led a 1-2 finish in the 100 fly.
Kaitlin Cassell touched second in 1:00.37. Van Noort was second in the 100 free (53.17) and Deibel third (54.47). Falconer picked up a win in the 100 free (1:00.07), while Postmus picked up her second win when she touched first in the 500 free (5:01.34).
Emily Gallagher notched a win in teh 100 breast (1:05.92).
Anna Barry was a double winner in diving, posting winning scores of 264.08 on the 3-meter and 230.63 on the 1-meter. GVSU closed with a win in the 200 free relay as
Jenn Priebe, Deibel,
Kathryn Culver and Van Noort touched first in a time of 1:37.96.
The #5 GVSU men won eight events, but used depth to pull out the win.

Ben Walling touched first in 3:23.24.
Michael Hudson touched second in the 1000 free (9:57.70) and Biren Moffitt third (10:10.60).
Tim Harris was second in the 200 free (1:42.62), followed by Gonzalo Rodriquez in third (1:45.35).
Danny Abbott was second in the 50 free (21.50) and
Gianni Ferrero was third in the 200 IM (1:54.32). Souza won the 100 fly (48.50) and Abbott won his second race of the day when he touched first in the 100 free (46.33). Ferrero touched first in the 100 back (49.10). Mikalauskas added a first-place finish in the 100 breast. The Lakers' 200 free relay team of Souza,

Nick Zacek and Abbott touched first (1:24.05). Brad Dalymple recorded a pair of first-place finishes on the 3-meter (309.60) and 1-meter (306.23).
