The Grand Valley State men's swimming and diving team claimed an 836-686 decision over Ball Sstate, while the Laker women dropped a 795.5-725.5 matchup with Cardinals. GVSU will next be in action Dec. 4-6 at the Calvin College Invitational.
The Laker men won 14 events during the two-day event.
Gianni Ferrero touched the wall first in the 100 fly (49.20), 100 back (51.42) and the 100 free (46.12), while
Patrick Sheppell claimed wins in the 500 free (4:49.00) and 1650 free (16:30.35).
Sven Kardol claimed first-place finishes in the 400 IM (4:12.19), second  in the 200 IM (1:59.17) and the 200 fly (1:55.85).
Nick Zacek touched first in the 200 free (1:45.23), second in the 500 free (4:51.67) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:00.95).
Joseba Hidelgado Vilela hit the wall first in the 200 back (1:57.67), second in the 100 back (54.43) and third in the 400 IM (4:18.09).
Danny Abbott finished second in the 50 free (21.47) and the 100 free (48.05), while
Grant Borregard hit the wall second in the 400 IM (4:14.15) and third in the 200 fly (1:59.78) and 200 IM (1:59.40). Garrett McCormick finished second in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 breast (2:19.04).
Milan Medo tallied fourth place finishes in the 50 free (21.85), and 100 fly (54.34) and fifth in the 100 breast (1:03.11).Â
Nate Stoller hit the wall second in the 200 breast (2:16.15), third in the 100 fly (52.35), while Tristen Comerford finished third in the 1650 (16:50.89) and fourth in the 500 free (4:55.83). Nate Wagner tallied a fourth-place finish in the 200 free (1:47.72) and fifth in the 50 free (22.11).
Michael Hudson notched a second-place finish in the 1650 free (16:41.49) and the 200 back (1:57.93), while touching fourth in the 400 IM (4:19.94).
Brien Moffitt turned in a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 500 free (4:56.28) and the 400 IM (4:27.43).
John Eber touched third in the 200 free (1:47.59),
Martin Plummer was third in the 100 breast (1:01.34) and
David Nunez was third in the 200 breast (2:18.89).Â
Tyler Keelean tallied first-place finishes on both the 1-meter (311.48) and 3-meter (285.60).
Ian Ellis was second on the 3-meter (268.35) and fourth on the 1-meter (213.53), while
Jared Gregory was third on both the 1-meter (217.95) and 3-meter (243.53).Â
GVSU finished first in the 200 medley relay (1:35.57), the 400 medley (3:29.82), the 800 free relay (7:02.48) and the 400 free relay (3:08.44), while the 200 free relay team touched second (1:25.83).Â
 Freshman Sam Postmus led the way with three individual wins, touching first in the 200 IM (2:06.74), 400 IM (4:27.40), and 1650 free (17:09.74). Sarah Roesner tallied a first-place finish in the 50 free (24.45), followed by a second in the 100 free (52.97) and a third in the 200 free (1:58.97).
Olivia Schultz notched a first in the 200 back (2:09.36), a fourth in the 50 free (25.06) and a fourth in the 100 back (1:01.37).
Emily Eaton touched third in the 50 free (24.74), fifth in the 100 free (54.75) and and 200 breast (2:50.76).Â
Kathryn Culver touched third in the 500 free (5:17.39), fourth in the 100 free (54.66) and fifth in the 100 breast (1:11.08). Jenn Priebe hit the wall third in the 100 fly (1:00.55) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:14.72).
Elise Tatchell finished third in the 200 fly (2:11.05) and fourth in the 400 IM (4:51.35), while
Emily Gallagher notched third-place finishes in the 100 breast (1:06.95) and 200 breast (2:29.19).
Julia Suriano touched fourth in the 200 back (2:10.27) and fifth in the 100 back (1:01.71).
Meghan Falconer tallied a second-place finish in the 200 back (2:09.48),
Emily Toro was fifth in the 100 fly (1:01.38),
Rachel Eaton finished fourth in the 1650 free (18:47.52) and
Erika Tribuzi was fifth in the 1650 free (18:49.23).Â

Taylor Wiercinski finished second on the 3-meter board (299.78) and second on the 1-meter board (245.93).Â
