High School: Prepped at South Christian High School...Named honorable mention Division 3-4 All-State by the Associated Press, three-time All-OK Gold honoree, All-Area Football Dream Team by the Grand Rapids Press as a punter, and All-Area South by Advance Newspapers after throwing for 1,626 yards and 15 touchdowns, while rushing for 475 yards and 11 scores...Also played defensive back and handled kicking duties...Averaged 40.7 yards per punt on the season and collected 38 first-hits and 20 assisted tackles on defense.
