Prior To GVSU: Spent two years at the University of Tennessee...Redshirted as a freshman in 2007 and was out due to injury in 2008.

High School: Prepped at Birmingham Brother Rice High School...Played for Al Fracassa...Earned All-Catholic, all-county and all-metro honors...Also named to the Detroit News Dream Team...Recorded 121 knockdown blocks and finished with a blocking percentage of 94 percent as a senior...Rivals four stars recruit...Ranked as the No. 14 overall offensive tackle prospect in the country...No. 7 overall prospect in Michigan...Four Star Scout.com recruit...Scout.com No. 14 overall offensive lineman prospect in the country...No. 26 overall offensive tackle as selected by ESPN...Played in the Offensive-Defensive All-American Bowl in Florida.
