2008: Earned second varsity letter after seeing action in all 12 games, including three as a starter...Tallied 19 total tackles (5 solo/14 assisted), two tackles for loss (-5) and one QB sack (-1)...Recorded four assisted tackles vs. Michigan Tech (9/27)...Added three solo tackles and an assist at Tiffin (10/4).

2007: Earned first varsity letter at GVSU...Played in 10 games as a reserve defensive lineman...Recorded 13 total tackles and one tackle for loss (-3)...Tallied three tackles vs. St. Joseph's (8/30), Findlay (9/15) and at Northwood (10/20).

2006: Did not see game action at Cincinnati.

2005: Redshirted.

High School: Prepped at Toledo Rogers High School...Three-year starter on the offensive and defensive line... Earned first team all-city honors as both an offensive guard and defensive end as a senior and was named to the all-district team...Named one of the top 100 players in Ohio by Prepstar...Selected for the Ohio North-South All-Star Game...Helped the Rams to a city league title in wrestling as a junior and was city champ at 275 pounds.

Personal: Son of Robert and Susan Gawronski...Criminal justice major...A state and national champion martial arts student who holds a black belt...Won two gold and one silver medal at the Goodwill Martial Arts Games in Mexico.
