2007: Played in all 13 games and earned first varsity letter...Saw action as a reserve linebacker and on special teams...Tallied 33 total tackles (16 solo/17 assisted), four tackles for loss (-17) and two QB sacks (-13)...Tallied a career-high seven tackles in second collegiate game vs. Findlay (9/15)...Notched six tackles, two QB sacks (-13) and two tackles for loss (-13) vs. Ferris State (10/27).

High School: Prepped at Mason County Central High School...Three-time All-West Michigan Conference honoree...All-state honorable mention pick as a senior...Earned all-area plaudits as a junior and senior...Rushed for 1,033 yards and 18 TDs, while passing for 494 yards and eight TDs as a senior...Added 39 tackles and two interceptions during final prep campaign...Also participated in basketball, baseball and track...Member of the National Honor Society.
