High School: Prepped at Macomb Dakota High School...Helped team to back-to-back Division 1 State Football Championships as a junior and senior...Named Macomb Daily All-Star, All-County, and All-Red MAC First-Teams...Earned Detroit Free Press First-Team All-State and All-Metro East First-Team...Named Detroit News All-Metro East First-Team...Had the "Charles Martin Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman of the Year" award named for him at Dakota High School and was the first recipient...Recorded 84 total tackles and 11 sacks as a senior and career-high 16 sacks as a sophomore...Also participated in wrestling as well as track and field, where he was named to the Macomb-Area Conference All-Academic Team...Member of the National Honor Society.
