In his five indoor efforts, he set a PR of 6.98 in the 60m at the GVSU Big Meet. In the outdoor season, he put the uniform on eleven times, competing in multiple events in ten of them. He set a 10.70 100m dash personal record in the IWU Polar Bear Classic, a month later he recorded a 21.01 200m dash personal record at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet. After winning both the 200m and 4x100m at the GLIAC Championships, he took his talents to the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships, where he earned All-American honors in the 4x100m Relay.
