2005: Earned second varsity letter...Garris rushed for 127 yards and two TDs on 25 carries, while catching seven passes for 77 yards during his sophomore campaign...Averaged 26.0 yards per kickoff return (9-234)...Caught one pass for 39 yards on a key third-and-eight play in the second quarter vs. North Dakota (11/19) and returned two kickoffs 33 yards...Returned two kickoffs for 104 yards, carried the ball three times for 29 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards vs. Northern Michigan (10/29)...Recorded a season-high 144 all-purpose yards versus the Wildcats...Toted the ball three times for 21 yards and returned one kickoff 15 yards at Hillsdale (10/8)...Returned two kickoffs 36 yards vs. Wayne State (10/1)...Rushed for 51 yards and two TDs vs. Gannon (9/3).

2004: Played in 13 games and earned first varsity letter...Played both running back and receiver...Rushed for 179 yards and one TD on 34 carries...Caught four passes for seven yards...Tallied 102 yards rushing and scored a TD on 17 carries vs. Hillsdale (10/9)...Rushed for 59 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes for 12 yards at Wayne State (10/2).

2003: Redshirted.

Prior to GVSU: Prepped at Muskegon Mona Shores High School...Earned all-conference and all-area honors senior year...Hauled in 45 passes for 900 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior...Caught 45 passes for 500 yards and three TDs as a junior.
