Tatumn Nyen was named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career, as announced by the league office this afternoon.

The Chanhassen, Minnesota native posted four caused turnovers, four groundballs, and scored her first career goal. Nyen totaled one groundball and caused a turnover on Friday versus Ashland. On Sunday, Nyen caused three turnovers, picked up three groundballs, and scored a goal in the 9-6 victory at Missouri Western.

So far this season, Nyen has tallied 10 caused turnovers, ranking third on the team, and picked up six groundballs.
