The Lakers are looking to win their seventh consecutive home contest, dating back to last season.

The Eagles of Ashland are winners of two straight, both by shutout, to push their record to 5-4 this season. They are 2-0 in GMAC play, defeating Ursuline and Lake Erie by a combined score of 44-0. In Sunday's matchup, the Lakers will head to Missouri to take on MWSU in their final non-conference game before league play starts next week. After starting the season 4-1, the Griffons have dropped two straight, losing to Colorado State-Pueblo and Colorado-Colorado Springs. They have one of the best defenses in the country, allowing just eight goals per contest, with goalkeeper Ava Garaway posting a save percentage of 52.0%.
