ALLENDALE, MICH. – Grand Valley State women's lacrosse head coach Dominique Hamman announced the hiring of two new assistant coaches. Dan Moriarty will serve as an assistant coach, while Eliana LaMange will be the team's newest graduate assistant coach.
 
"I am very excited to welcome Dan and Eliana to our staff," said Hamman. "They will both be a great fit to our staff and will help us build upon the standard we have established here at Grand Valley State."
 
Most recently, Moriarty was an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team at Virginia Wesleyan. As the offensive coordinator on the staff, Moriarty oversaw a Marlins team that set a program record in points and saw their point total per game grow from 13 to over 23 in his first season. Additionally, Virginia Wesleyan ranked in the top 50 nationally in points per game, scoring offense, and assists per game. Moriarty has previously coached at Wilmington, Marian, Western Connecticut State, Southwestern, and Alderson Broaddus. At every stop, his teams have posted a better record than the year before and totaled better offensive statistics. A former player at Herkimer Community College and Adelphi, Moriarty was a member of two Final Four teams.

Following her playing career, LaMange joins the Lakers staff as the newest graduate assistant coach. After playing three years at Robert Morris, she transferred to join the Lakers for her final collegiate season. Playing in 17 games this past season, LaMange tallied 27 points on 20 goals and seven assists. The senior added 15 groundballs and caused nine turnovers and helped guide the Lakers to GLIAC regular season and tournament titles.
