ALLENDALE, MICH. – Grand Valley State sophomore forward
MacKenzie Bisballe was named D2CCA First-Team All-Midwest Region, as announced by the organization earlier this morning. This is the first all-region honor of Bisballe's career.
This season, Bisballe is tied for the team lead in scoring, averaging 14.6 points, shooting a GLIAC-best 54.6% from the floor, which ranks 21
st nationally. The GLIAC Tournament MVP has grabbed 5.9 rebounds a game and blocked a team-high 39 shots. She has recorded three double-doubles this season and scored in double-figures in 25 contests of the 28 she has played.
Bisballe and the Lakers will open NCAA Tournament play Friday evening, hosting Maryville at 5:00 in the Fieldhouse Arena.
