GVSU Swim & Dive Gears Up For A Four-Day GLIAC Championship

ALLENDALE, Mich. — The Grand Valley State swim and dive teams are preparing for a four-day GLIAC Conference Swim and Dive Championship at the Holland Aquatic Center, scheduled for February 6–9. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. each day, followed by finals at 5:30 p.m.

The men's team is aiming for its 12th consecutive GLIAC title, which would be the program's 15th overall. The women's team is also seeking its fourth straight GLIAC championship, which would mark the eighth in program history. The Lakers recorded 91 top-eight finishes at last year's championships.

The Lakers have had a couple of weeks off to prepare for the meet following a successful Senior Night on January 17 against Davenport University, where Grand Valley State swept both the men's and women's competitions.

Teams competing at the GLIAC Championship:
• Augustana
• Davenport
• Grand Valley State
• Lake Superior State
• Northern Michigan
• Saginaw Valley State
• St. Cloud State
• Wayne State
