ALLENDALE, Mich. — After a month away from competition, the Lakers are set for a three-day invitational at Calvin University, beginning Dec. 4 and concluding Dec. 6. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m., followed by finals at 6 p.m.
GVSU is currently ranked fourth on both the men's and women's sides and has maintained those positions since its last meet, where the women secured a win over No. 3 University of Indianapolis.
In the pool and on the boards, the Lakers will be pushing to earn NCAA cuts and qualify for nationals.
Teams competing at the Calvin Invite include:
• Calvin
• Findlay
• Indiana Wesleyan
• Lawrence
• Northern Michigan
Last season, the Lakers captured first place on both the men's and women's sides.
