No. 4 Grand Valley State to Host No.3 Indianapolis in Final Home Meet of 2025

ALLENDALE, Mich.- The Grand Valley State men's and women's dive teams are coming off another weekend of strong performances after defeating the Northern Michigan Wildcats.

This weekend, the No. 4 Lakers will host the No. University of Indianapolis at the GVSU Pool on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. The meet will serve as their final home event of the 2025 calendar year.

Multiple pool records were broken last weekend on both the men's and women's sides, as well as in swimming and diving. Carter Wood set a new pool record in the 1-meter, six-dive event, breaking a mark that had stood for more than 10 years.

Last season, the Laker men fell to the Greyhounds, 130.5-167.5, while the women finished the meet in a 150-150 tie.

"We have been preparing for this weekend's meet as usual, and we hope to see our swimmers and divers compete at a high level against a team ranked right next to us in the national polls," said head coach Andy Boyce.

The event will be live streamed. Click here to watch. For updates, follow the team on Instagram @gvsuswimdive and X @gvsuswim, and download Meet Mobile for additional updates.
