ALLENDALE, Mich. — The GVSU Swim and Dive team is back on the road, traveling across town to Calvin University to compete in a Tri-Dual against Calvin and Saginaw Valley State. The meet will take place at the Venema Aquatic Center at 1:00 p.m.
The CSCAA announced the national rankings on Friday, October 17, with both the Laker men and women ranked fourth.
The women's team is coming off three sweeps against Hope, McKendree, and Saginaw Valley State, while the men's team also earned three clean sweeps against those same opponents.
On the women's side, the 200-yard freestyle relay team broke a school record right out of the gate in the first relay of the GVSU Invite last week.
Lucy Hedley, Olivia Kutsche, Evan Scotto DiVetta, and Carter Wood swept the GLIAC Swimmer and Diver of the Week honors with outstanding performances at the GVSU Invite.
"We are looking to get as many NCAA cuts and really focus on improving our strength and speed." Said Coach Boyce.
