Grand Valley State senior offensive lineman
Gabe Brown was named an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) First-team All-American it was announced Wednesday (Dec. 18).
Brown, who was a D2CCA First-Team Super Region 3 honoree, the 2024 GLIAC Offensive Lineman of the Year and a two-time First-Team All-GLIAC performer, is versatile performer on the offensive front. He was an integral piece in a GVSU rushing game that led the GLIAC, ranked seventh nationally (247.2 ypg.) and rushed for over 235 yards in eight games. Brown was adept at both run and pass blocking, evidenced by his 96.3 efficiency rating for the regular season.
GVSU finished the 2024 campaign with an 11-2 record and advanced to the NCAA DII Playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.
