Grand Valley State announced tailgate times for the 2026 football season, with additional time being allotted for select games. Times were agreed upon by Athletics, in collaboration with campus partners, to improve the overall experience for fans coming to campus and attend Laker football games.
Benefits:
- More time to setup and tailgate before tearing down to go to the game.
- Less rush into the parking lots.
- Relieve traffic - fans can arrive earlier or later as they wish.
- Opens lots for other campus activities - i.e. fans can park in lot C/F/G, go do other campus activities, and come back to tailgate without having to move their vehicle.
