SUMMARY: The No. 15 Grand Valley State Lakers begin a three-game homestand this evening as they welcome in their cross-state foe, the Wayne State Warriors, to the Fieldhouse Arena for Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action at 8 PM. The Lakers are currently alone in first place in the GLIAC standings with a, 18-3 overall record and 11-2 conference mark.
Â
The Lakers can match their win total from all of last season with a win tonight, having won eight of their last nine games. GVSU had been undefeated on their home court this season until a tough 75-73 loss to Northern Michigan two Saturdays ago. This will be their first home game since the buzzer beater missed and their ferocious comeback attempt fell short.
