The Grand Valley State men's tennis team improved to 3-0 on the season after they won, 9-0, against Lawrence Tech (6-2) on Saturday evening in Southfield, Michigan. The Lakers will now return home on Sunday (Feb. 24) to host Walsh at the Premier Athletic & Tennis Club in Grandville, Mich. with first serve starting at 5:45 p.m.

GVSU got off to a quick start in doubles as they swept LTU and earned the three doubles points.
Sebastien Lescoulie and
DJ Colantone paired up at No. 1 doubles and won 8-6, while
Jack Geissler and
Martin Matov won 8-3 from the No. 2 slot.
Jack Dausman and
Ryan Rhoades completed the sweep after they won 8-3 from the No. 3 doubles pairing.

The Lakers kept the pressure on the Blue Devils as they continued into singles play as
Eric Zwemer won 6-0, 6-1, from the No. 6 spot, while Colantone also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, from the No. 5 position. Playing out of the No. 3 singles position was Dausman, who won 6-3, 6-3, while Geisler tallied a 6-2, 6-1, win from the No. 2 spot. Lescoulie completed the sweep after he won in three sets at No. 1 singles by a score of 6-3, 5-7, 10-4.
