Lakers Punch Ticket in NCAA Tournament; Earn Five Seed in Midwest Region

ALLENDALE - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team have punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament and were named the five seed in the Midwest Region. The Lakers will face the four seed Tiffin in the first round in Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, May 11th. 

The Lakers enter the NCAA tournament with an 11-6 record and finished in second place in the GLIAC standings with a 5-1 conference mark. GVSU is making their 16th and fifth straight appearance in the NCAA tournament. GVSU advanced to the elite eight last season for the first time in program history.
