The GVSU men's tennis team is set to play the Hawks of Rockhurst University in the first round of the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament. The match will be played at the FSU Racquet & Fitness Center on the campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. on Saturday, April 29 at 11:00 AM. 

The Laker men are coming off of a third place finish in the GLIAC tournament and sport a 19-7 overall record while going 11-2 against regional opponents and 8-1 against GLIAC foes. This will be the first meeting of the season between the Lakers and Hawks, who come in with a 13-7 overall record and an 8-6 regional record. 

The winner of the first round matchup will move on to face host school Ferris State in the Midwest Regional Championship match on Sunday, April 30 at 11:00 AM. 

This will be Grand Valley's fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
