TAMPA, Fla. - #46 Grand Valley State men's tennis, still in the midst of their Spring Break trip to Florida, easily took care of West Chester in a 7-2 victory to push their record to 5-2 early in the season.

The Lakers only gave up four total points in doubles play, winning all three matches.

Alex van de Steenoven won the first doubles match 8-3.

GVSU took four of six singles matches to come away with the victory. Steenoven won match No. 1 (6-3, opponent retired), while
Nicholas Urban took match two (6-2, 6-0), Kaye won match three (6-4, 6-1), and
Marcus Muniz Infante took match six (6-1, 6-4) for Grand Valley State.

The Lakers conclude their Florida trip with a Saturday (Mar. 11) doubleheader beginning at 8:15 am when they take on University of the Sciences and then finish up against Lynn at 3 pm.
