2012:Academic All-GLIAC honoree...Beyond Sports DII Athlete of the Week...Played in all 11 games with six starts...Ranked third on the team in receptions with 17 for 327 yards and two TDs...Caught two passes for 30 yards and a TD in his first college game at Western Oregon (9/1)...Hauled in three passes for 90 yards, including a key third down 41-yard reception...Tallied four catches for 85 yards and a TD at Hillsdale (10/27).

2011: Redshirted...Named the GVSU Offensive Scout Team Player of the year...Lettered for the GVSU  baseball team as a true freshman...Hit .313 with 21 hits in 67 at bats...Finished the season as the everyday DH.

High School: Prepped at Oakridge High School...Played for Jack Schugars...Passed for 696 yards and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,561 yards and 24 touchdowns on 193 carries as a senior...Collected 64 total tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and four pass break-ups...Also averaged 39.4 yards per punt on 25 punts and had 37 touchbacks on 74 kickoffs while converting 9-of-13 field goals and 45-of-48 extra points...Named to the Division 5-6 All-State team by the Detroit News as a defensive back...Named Division 5 All-State by the Detroit Free Press...Earned Division 5-6 All-State accolades from the Associated Press...Named All-West Michigan Conference at quarterback, defensive back and kicker, while being named honorable mention at punter...As a junior, he passed for 457 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 975 yards and 15 touchdowns on 170 carries...Threw for 779 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore and rushed for 588 yards and 11 touchdowns...Selected to play in the 2011 MHSFCA East-West All-Star Game and named to the MHSFCA All-Academic honorable mention team.
