2012: Redshirted.

High School: Prepped at Petoskey High School under head coach Kerry Vanorman...Named Associated Press All-State First Team (D3/D4), All-Big North First Team and was part of the MHSFCA All-Star Game after rushing for 1,796 yards and 33 TDs on 168 carries (both school records)...Had eight catches for three TDs and picked off six passes as a senior...As a junior, he was named all-area and All-Big North First team after tallying 36 tackles, seven interceptions, 902 rushing yards, 12 rushing TDs and 269 yards receiving.
