High School: Prepped at Portage Northern High School under head coach Pete Schermerhorn...Played running back, wide receiver, and defensive back...Caught 21 passes for 418 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 659 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior...Caught 13 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 80 times for 541 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior...Named all-conference first team as both a junior and senior.
