High School: Prepped at Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School under head coach Todd Kolster...Earned Associated Press First Team All-State honors as an offensive utility player, Detroit Free Press First Team All-State honors as a defensive back, Detroit News First Team All-State honors as a defensive back and Grand Rapids Press Dream Team honors as an offensive utility player...Had 1,572 all-purpose yards as a senior (10.3 yards/touch) that included 881 receiving yards (eight TDs), 332 rushing yards (five TDs) and 359 return yards to go with 107 total tackles, two fumble recoveries and one interception return for a touchdown...As a junior, he was named first team all-area and first team All-OK Gold after collecting 402 receiving yards (five TDs) and 476 rushing yards (six TDs) in addition to 149 total tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception...Named the Division 4 State Champion Player of the Game by WBBL Radio after catching two TDs in the final three minutes to lead the team to victory.
