High School: Prepped at Lowell High School under head coach Juston Miller...Went 2-2 with a 1.04 ERA, 33 strikeouts and only five walks in 27 innings of work as a senior...At the plate, Drake hit .389 with 39 runs, 27 RBI, 12 doubles, four triples and 19 walks en route to being named OK White All-Conference as a designated hitter and all-district as a first baseman...As a junior, Drake went 6-5 with a 2.64 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 64 innings of work, while hitting .404 with 13 doubles and 28 RBI at the plate, earning all-conference and all-district honors...Two-time academic all-state honoree.
